準確一些來說明Alfresco system，她算是一種 Enterprise content management (ECM) system，


我經常會跟CMS Content management System搞混在一起，所以紀錄一下差異之處:

Why-->公司內部擁有許多資源，也利用各式各樣的方式儲存，例如microsoft office文件，PDF，


掃瞄檔，圖檔，壓縮檔，程式集，電子郵件，這些資料除了散落各地之外，也很難有"組織性"


這樣會造成 保存及分享 上的問題


Who-->公司內部需要"表格管理"概念的單位


When-->通常公司應該到了一定規模，或是需要多媒體的文件控管與分享的情況才會用到


What-->市場上常見的ECM有 fileNet8(IBM) Oracle MOSS2007(Microsoft) ，說實話 Alfresco很偏門 很冷
